Their church's Müller organ is a must see on your visit to Haarlem. It is certainly one of the world's most historically important organs. Upon its completion, it was the largest organ in the world with 60 voices and 32-foot pedal-towers. It has been played...More

We stayed in Haarlem with friends and they brought us here! €2.50 allows you entry into this beautiful place of worship. The organ which was once played by Mozart was impressive as well as the ceilings! Beautiful house of God.

Very interesting church. For me the most impressive thing was the massive organ in the back that both Mozart and Handel played.

A stunning interior! The organ is spectacular and has even been played on by Mozart. Through the reredos one can glimpse the grave of Frans Hals. The flooring slabs are unique. Definitely worth a visit!

We stumbled upon this church almost by accident (wandered towards the tallest building in town). Entrance was only €2.50 so we figured we must go inside. Spectacular architecture and giant pipe organ once played by Mozart. Well worth the visit.

If you have the opportunity to visit and tour, go for it, it's well worth your time. If you have the added bonus of hearing a concert (or even someone practicing for a concert), you will be in for a treat! The acoustics are beautiful.

Although not always open for visitors, do try you best to visit it. The church is the biggest in Holland and is as beautiful. The Worden ceilings are well preserved and the organ (on which Mozart gave one of his first concerts as a child)...More

We plan to visit on July 2 and there is a concert on that day. Does the admission fee to the church include the concert? If not how do we get tickets and can they be purchased on line in advance?

The concerts are indeed free of charge. All information is available in English on the website of the church. I can't put a website address in an answer on tripadvisor but you can easily find the site if you type bavo church... More
