As a man of a certain age, I find that some Saunas can make men my age feel invisible but that was not the case with this sauna. On my recent visit in April I was rewarded with a very satisfying Sunday afternoon. The place...More

Overall, Nieuwezijds is one of the most clean and modern bathhouses I've been to in Europe. Admission includes a drink token. The space is smaller compared to other European bathhouses but does contain a large steam room, labyrinth with private rooms, spacious sauna, smoke room...More

Very unfriendly blond young guy, trying to indoctrinate me, telling me how I should greet him. He just stood behind the counter staring at me as if he knew me and talking to his colleague and confronting me every time I said something. For sure...More

Very arrogant Turkish looking bearded guy does not know at all what hospitality means. This arrogant and extremely rude staff member is ruining the reputation of gay Amsterdam and should not work in a place which is all about service. His style of communication is...More

This is for gay men only. It is a well-run and friendly sauna. The facilities are as advertised and convenient to the historic city center.

This is a very nice sauna. The jacuzzi is a bit pointless though. It's just one big jet in the middle and is too deep, so you're constantly getting water in your face. The cruising rooms are ok, just not that many of them.

I used to quite like going here, but then they renovated it and now the steam room is really quite disappointing. With bright red lights they have put this ridiculous stage in what used to be a nice cosy dark area so now there is...More

I really love this sauna. The staff is kind and the enviroment is clean. Which is for me a huge thing. Because you don't want to step in someone else's body fluids. It isn't very big but it gives the place it's charm. It's always...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
