This was a really cool museum, there were loads of clever and varied interactive exhibits. It was really interesting to learn about and see lots of microbes. It seemed to be really well maintained, all of the displays were in working order and looking great.

Very original, “educational” and fun visit. My 8 year old daughter was maybe a little too young to understand it all, although she had a great afternoon there too.

This is the worst museum that I have ever visited. Purports to be the only microism museum in the world as if that’s a great thing. If it wasn’t a con, it would be! Expected to see live micro things but 98% of it is...More

I went with my kids ages 9 and 12. They thought it was very interesting. We needed about 2.5 hours to observe everything without rushing. I would recommend to do Micropia on a separate day, and not combine it with the Artis zoo on the...More

This is a tiny museum, only two relatively small floors of exhibits, but well-presented and interesting. There are live microbes that can be viewed using microscopes, interactive illustrations of the human microbiome, and illustrations of how these bugs get transmitted. There's a tour of poop...More

it is fascinating that we are surrounded by millions of bacterias but to actually see it is thrilling. Unique experience.

Saw this on Ch4 Travel program. Very good interactive displays and a brief talk on poo! Makes you realise just how easily germs can spread.

This is an amazing museum! I am slightly biased having studied microbiology at university, however this still left me in awe. Its amount of detail, ability to view microbes (!), preservation of samples and lastly the flow and clarity of information made for a fascinating...More

The museum is cool and informative. It uses technology well to engage the visitors, and the stamp collection was fun. It’s not a big place, so probably an hour at most should suffice. It’s a good itinerary to include if you are going to the...More

1 hour should be enough. But if you have the time there is enough there to keep you entertained for at least 2 :)
