Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a nice park full of locals doing various outdoor activities. Perhaps not the prettiest but large and friendly - definitely worth a jog, if you live nearby.

We were on a 4 day visit to Amsterdam and basically by day 3 we were sick of the crowds and just wanted a bit of space.
We can't have been the first tourists to have seen a tram with "Flevopark" on it. We decided to ride the tram to the end of the line because it sounded interesting.
We weren't disappointed, It's a really nice ( urban) park, very flat with water everywhere and trees you can look at. Not nearly as busy or "cool" as Vondelpark.
Funnily enough this was one of my favourite places we visited, and not just because it's free either.

The amazing thing about Amsterdam is you get beautifully laid out roads buildings, shops and parks which are really near to the City Centre and everything is clean and new. Flevopark is a good example and we went for a walk in the spring sunshine here today. Hundreds of people were there relaxing in the sunshine. The Park is very spacious.
People were having barbecues, sun bathing and swimming in the beautiful lake. There were at least twelve swimmers and although it looked cold they were enjoying themselves. Of course there were plenty of cyclists and well laid out routes for both cycles and pedestrians but the Park is clean tidy and beautifully laid out.
I took lots of photographs, please see attached and do recommend you visit if you have time to enjoy a nice walk.

This is only 5 min walk from the campsite Zeeburg, so handy as we have a dog, great space well maintained.

On the edge of Amsterdam lies this fairly wild park with paths through it. This isn't cultivated, and as a result you can see kingfishers by the pond, and jays.

This park has a running route of 3.2km as well as several outdoor gym tools. I liked going there for a run and do some exercises in between.

A big green park on east Amsterdam. It has a nice quite big lake and a grass field suitable for playing games, Frisbee , flying drones and such. I have noticed a few parrots on the trees too. Last year the park received a good maintanance service and now the pathways are better and trees and bushes are trimmed. There is a playground for children and a camping place. Late September you can go there and pick fresh raspberries. An excellent place for a picnic, a walk or to celebrate. During summer a small band is playing there almost all the time:-)) there is a cosy cafe just beside a second lake where you can drink while swans are swinging on water top in front of you.

Off the beaten tourist route, Flevopark isn't a top destination but nice to walk around for maybe 30 minutes. The paths meander through mainly shrubbery and trees and hidden inside is a tasting room for Jenevers :)

As we walked through the park two herons flew out of the trees right in front of us. There a lot of sports facilities and children's playgrounds but our favourite place was the distillery by the lake in the middle of the park. Too cold to sit out on the day but must be beautiful in summer.
