We visited the Dungeon and had a great time . You're taken in a group of around 20 through different rooms in the dark , each room depicting a grisly part of Amsterdams history . Very interactive ! Guests were picked randomly to interact with the performers and the rest of the group to hilarious effect ( I was classed... More

This was a spur of the moment decision and I don't regret it. It's not cheap and it lasts about an hour or so but it's good fun. It's evident that the people there enjoy their jobs and are great at it. You're part of a group who interacts with the actors and the whole set-up is enjoyable - there... More

Nice show. Nice shocking moments. Nice details. Very good actors. But things were a bit in a hurry. That's the reason for four stars.

We visited the Dungeon on a whim after visiting some markets as it was close by - was a fun experience, not too long of a queue to enter and our group size was very reasonable. Very interesting history and very similar to the other dungeons - good interactive experience. My partner was picked to interact with one of the... More

Thought this was going to be like London dungeons but no this is a live experience with some very talented young actors who do their very best to scare the hell out of you. You travel with the same people throughout this experience and in each room someone is selected to take part. No point hiding in the dark.,they find... More

We spent a weekend in Amsterdam with another couple and someone else suggested we do this. To be honest it was not on my list as I am a chicken. It wasn't actually as scary as I thought it was going to be. My own head freaked me out more then what was actually happening. It was only really the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
