Really enjoyed this place, great atmosphere and was buzzing even on a wednesday night! Try the 10euro, 5 sample beers option, then sit down and relax with views of the working brewery all underneath a beautiful windmill.

No visit to Amsterdam would be complete without a visit to Brouwerij t'Ij as not only is it a cool place to visit but the beer range is second to none in this vibrant city. This has to be one of the most photographed brewpubs...More

I read great reviews about this brewery in a windmill and knew we had to check it out. We walked in and the space was large with lots of seating, and lots of beers to choose from. We had flights and a full beer each...More

A must see if you visit Amsterdam. A micro brewery with fantastic beer. It is a little out of the centre but worth the travel. Great selection of beers and nibbles for either a quiet drink or a heavy session. And the great thing is,...More

We mostly decided to visit this brewery because of the windmill it’s attached too. The brewery itself has great atmosphere and friendly staff. The beers were decent, just nothing to be impressed by. But we are beer snobs so most people should probably like them...More

Brouwerij 't IJ is one of my favourite spots in Amsterdam. Great beer, in a Windmill. What else could you want?

I have been to a fair amount of breweries and this is one of my favourites. The beer is great and they do a little ‘tour’ which is more of a chat about the beer but its good and the staff were knowledgable. They have...More

Brouwerij 't IJ was a hike. For a walkable city, this was really far. But we finally made it and enjoyed some tasty brews. Because it was cold, seating was only available inside and all the seats were taken. It was not the kind of...More

I could not believe my eyes when I read that one of the best #craftbeer makers in Amsterdam was side by side with an 18th century windmill. So I went there, and there it was!! Very easy atmosphere, it opens only at 2pm, and the...More

Yes, it's beer only, but how's the time to try if you are solely a wine drinker. You might be converted!
