A photographer's dream. Colours, building designs, bridges, old boats all there to be photographed. Combine the Docklands with Azartplein and see the wide selection of little bridges over tiny canals. Bus 48 from Central station takes you there.

If you want to escape the crowd of Amsterdam and have a breath just go there and walk along the docks... Dutch urban planners did an amazing work in fixing this industrial part of the town which look so new and modern and vibrant .

We joined our APT cruise ship here and noticed the many modern buildings across the water. It's a fine example of modern architecture but to be honest I think that the older buildings in Amsterdam are far more beautiful.

The reason for my title is that the apartment residences here are all new and beautiful on the inside, but the flavor of the old warehouses is still intact in the red brick exteriors. We visited an acquaintance here for dinner via tram from Centraal...More

Surrounded by modern architecture but to the north of real Amsterdam. Other than the modern buildings it's pretty bland. You can get on and off your canal cruise at this point
