Cool old tower.

I think the tour guide said this one was over 400 years old. The architecture is very cool and it's very old and in a cool spot. Worth the time.

One of the most underrated spots of this amazing city. Wonderful tower you will meet if lucky enough while you walk by. Take a look and make a picture, it's absolutely unique.

Located on the quieter eastern part of the city on the edge of the Oudeschans canal, Montelbaanstoren was built in 1512, and its spire and clock was added in 1606. The spire and clock tower leans a little off center and its quite prominent from certain angles, especially from across the other side of the canal. That's what makes this... More

The original tower was built in 1516, while the clock face and decorative appearance were added in 1606 by Dutch architect, Hendrick de Keyser. This... More

Another scenic spot that is probably off the radar of most sightseeing in Amsterdam, but there is a lot of charm here, and in the getting there. Plot your destinations on a map and link them up for a self-guided walking tour. Nice way to spend a day.

The architecture stands out! Beautifully located near one of the largest canals in the city and worth seeing. Most boat tours will pass by it so you can learn about it.
