Visited today on a quiet Friday lunchtime. Server was abrupt and unwelcoming. We ordered the 4 beer taster - very average tasting beers. Also had some hot bar snacks which were okay. Not many people in the place, so minimal atmosphere. When we went to...More

This is their brewery tap and the bar upstairs backs onto the brewhouse. Upstairs has more of a living room feel whilst downstairs - at ground level - has brick flooring and a tiled counter / walling. Usually around 6-8 beers on tap.

Bar Staff ignored us like we were invisible and we left. Ridiculous. Seemed to be more interested in picking his teeth, while the other guys struggled to grasp the basics. Way better options in this part of town.

Went to this place on the recommendation of our tour guide. A big deal was made about the brewery using 'local water'. Not sure what that means, but the beer was nice. It's one of those places that has the beer menu on a chalk...More

Lovely little spot with a great choice of craft beer and a load of comfy seats and nooks and crannies to hang out in. Must visit!

We have had Bitterballen at a few places in Amsterdam and this by far the best. The kaassoufflés were also delicious!

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the

historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
