They sell a bit of everything here, from herring and fries/ ships to local cheeses, seafood, clothing, and produce. A fun place to walk through on your way to somewhere else, to pick up groceries, or a destination in itself.

Great local flavor in Amsterdam. Many blocks long., Lots of food, local produce and all varieties of goods. definitely a good half day activity. Highlight was a hot freshly made stroopwafel.

thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in
search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly
half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners

Don't remember seeing any at the Albert Cuyp market. There is quite a good selection at the flower market (bloemenmarkt) at singel street. Don't be tempted to buy at the first place you see. It doesn't take long to go... More
