It is a shame that it actually isn't a museum, but rather some old trams that trundle along a predetermine route. Only open at specific times (Sundays I believe, and not everyone). You do have to make it clear if you want to get off...More

Its a great experience to visit tram museum. They have collection of trams from past which will amuse you. Here if you are with your kids they will enjoy tram ride too.

You can spend some of your time in this tram museum. I found tram to be the best for travelling in city and here in the museum you will see little history related to trams.

Friendly personal are doing their hobby great, interesting old machines... My recommendation, for fans from Czech republic, they have old Prague tram, hope riding again soon

a lovely way to spend a few hours,staff lovely helpfull, some very intresting trams from days gone by. you do need to be rrapted up as it gets cold .but it somthing defferant to do for a hour or so ..

What a lovely little history! There are some great trams here from all sorts of eras that were once in Amsterdam, all lovingly maintained and run by a team on Sundays. My other half (about 6" 2') complained that the seats were too short, but...More

If I had a limited amount of time to spend in Amsterdam, I wouldn't bother with the historic tram line. We thought the ride through the Amsterdamse Bos would be a nice, scenic trip, but all you see along the ride is peoples' backyards facing...More

We were determined to find this little volunteer-run tramline gem, especially as we knew we'd be in Amsterdam on its only public running day, Sunday. Easily accessible with direct trams from central station right outside. Bus stop right outside links you to other stations nearby....More
