This is a fabulous area of town. Great place to walk, filled with shops and restaurants! Recommend walking from one end to the other!

Our Airbnb was on this canal and I think it was the perfect location. Peaceful area, yet so close to everything. We walked the entire Singel on both sides, which everyone should do as the atmosphere changes as you walk along. Lots are great cafes...More

Took a canal trip which was wonderful. Went through a lot of the canals and out into the harbor a bit. Definitely worth it.

We walked the entire length of the Singel, both sides. Entirely beautiful and very interesting. Each bridge crossing it is different and the each building is drifferent from the others. A must walk.

We have a lot of events on the canal side and perhaps is the most famous as the called the Concert on the Prinsengracht. Its upfront the Pulitzer Hotel on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam, famous indeed.

Our hotel Estherea was located right on Singel canal so we were able to enjoy it in the morning before all the bicycles and boats pass by. Beautiful canal, very authentic feeling, not much tourists in this area

The menu is short and all the food is freshly made as ordered and presented with care. The day I visited, the cook was an artist and took extra trouble to serve a beautiful crepe. I don't remember the menu, but I know I... More
