Enclosed river boat sails you along so you take in all the sights and listen to a history of the river. very pleasant experience

My husband and I took a boat tour down the Amstel and it was very neat to see and hear about the history. Totally worth checking out one of the many boat tours offered.

Well we finally learned where Amsterdam got its name from, really quite obvious, during our canel cruise with Friendship. Take a small boat and see it from the water!

We saw this river. This river is flowing thru'out Amsterdam. Its really kept clean and one can love doing boating in this river.

Painted by many artists from Rembrandt to Mondrian this river is the heart & soul of the city, crossed by numerous bridges and lined by charming restaurants & cafes snd inviting to stroll along its banks. Enjoy!
