I live really close to Mazzo and wish it was better but unfortunately am disappointed every time. From the outside it looks like a winner but after sitting down and waiting (and waiting) for someone to come to hand over a menu let alone take...More

Trendy Italian brasserie. We were pleased to see many locals eating here as well as tourists like us. Our waiter was so helpful! The pizza dough is one of the best I've eaten, and hubby enjoyed his pizza too even though in error the kitchen...More

Visited with a big group of friends on a Saturday night. We had a €30 set menu which had a good range of items. We had enough to be satisfied, if not full. The food was decent, not amazing but certainly worth the cost. Decor...More

So shocked with some of the previous comments about this restaurant. We ate here tonight and it was gorgeous! We had pasta dishes to start which were really flavoursome and thin crust, Italian style pizza for mains. The staff were polite and friendly, the decor...More

Was there for a birthday brunch this Sunday. Service was extremely slow and orders got often mixed up. The dish "mixed Mazzo breakfasts" was 2 salamis, 2 small croissants and a tiny tiny tiny yogurt. Wifi was not working. Overall - not really worth the...More

Hi Ricardo, Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear you had a good time at Mazzo. Could you please tell us what meat dish you ordered? We never had bad reviews about the meat, so we are very curious where it went...More

I had always been attracted to this restaurant from the outside, so one evening we decided to go in, without a reservation. We were greeted by a man with a very blank expression and seemed rather annoyed when we said we didn't have a reservation...More

The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, who lives in Amsterdam. It is located a little bit aside from the central area, but that only makes it more local and not touristic attraction. They have an open kitchen and very cosy interior. The...More

We got lost and found this place. Nice decor, and good food. I had a very yummy pesto tomato bruschetta. It seemed a little on the outskirts but then again we were a little lost :). Good light fresh food, large restaurant.

I came here with my friends and husband over the Bank Holiday weekend and I can't decide if I would go there again or not. The food was actually really lovely, but the service was so bad that I had to give just 3 stars....More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
