If you don't know what you looking for you surly won't find this monument if symbolism. Three visable triangles representing the past, present and future. One in the canal, one on the ground in the plain and one lifted slightly away in the plain. If...More

We walked right past it. We had our smart phone out and were walking along the map. Then, my daughter said, I think we passed it? We turned around and noticed an elevated triangle. Then another that was not elevated. Then, I used Google images...More

We booked a boat trip and our guide pointed it out to us from the water. A very good gesture and an opportunity to reflect.

From the reviews we read..we thought a must.but a very conservative monument by the canal. Very close to Ana Frank House so just plan maybe 5 extra minutes when going to Ana Frank.

You can easily miss it. It's just steps with flowers on them. There's a small sign. The gesture is much appreciated though.

Except a bunch of flowers, there is nothing more to see. Looking at the photograph would be enough. Waste of time. Maybe if you want to put flowers there, you should go

My wife and I came across this memorial whilst having a walk in the neighbourhood looking for the Anne Frank House. The memorial is situated on the bank of the Keizersgracht canal near the Westerkerk church, and in close proximity to Anne Frank House, and...More
