The 9 streets is a small shopping area not too far from Dam Square. You will find designer shops and brand stores as well as cafes, bars in the canal area and narrow streets.

From the central station to the streets full of boutiques there is a never-ending stream of people. Not just tourists but a rich tapestry of residents of many descendants.

The nine streets are narrow cobbled streets with wonderful selction of mostly independent shops but some stores. Also restaurants, bars, cafes & lots more. Not cheap but spoilt for choice. So much nicer than shopping on Kalverstraat (main street). Great for vintage shopping

I've been to the "Nine Streets" and found nothing interesting there. It's a charming place, but some store as more expensive than the ones in other places in Amsterdam. I'd rather going to Kalverstraat where you can find cheaper stores and pharmacies.

The 9 Streets are very touristy, but contain unique shops and restaurants, and are a cool part of the city.
