What an amazing Spa. Just like stepping back 40 years. The staff are so helpful and informative. The Infrared Sauna is different but so enjoyable. Both conventional Saunas and the Steam Room are also excellent. Finally the cold plunge pool is so refreshing. Good value for money and would use it every week if I lived in Amsterdam.

Enjoy it’s a great place to have a break. Sauna Deco is a marvellous place to relax, around 30 Euros entrance, there’s infra red heat rooms (two), a large pool, mixed locker room, massage rooms, relaxation areas outside with comfortable loungers, nice staff, steam rooms, Saunas plenty of showers and an upstairs rest area, towels a plenty but leave your swimming costume at home. Value for money at the Spa 10/10 and best of all is the authentic decor. Remember everyone is wearing their birthday suit.

A little history. In 1925 Paris hosted the Exhibition Internationale des Arts Decortif et Industriales Moderne from which the term Art Deco was eventually coined. The decor of this show was the exhibit of the department store Bonne Marche and after the exhibition it was incorporated into the actual store. When the store redecorated, they sold the interiors and they were incorporated into this spa. I found the interiors to be magnificent but the staff cold, impatient and impersonal.

Been at Deco mid February 2024 all alone while on a business trip, without my bf. One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life, actually this was my first time in a nude spa. Staff really helpful and polite, everything clean in general and a good mix of people. My only problem is that I rent bathrobe, and it was mixed twice, somebody got mine and left his, so I had to deal with this, but its not an issue of the management. NB everybody is naked, at all places, both men and women, various age, from 20 to 60. From changing room to saunas and showers, all rooms are mixed nude. Sounds scary but it only takes a minute or two to get used to it. If you are searching for something more, please do not bother coming. You will be escorted out in a minute. Just the perfect place for relaxation, cant wait to come back.

The building is furnished with art deco items brought from Paris about 75 years ago, creating a gorgeous and luxurious atmosphere. There are two saunas, a steam room, infra-red sauna, and a cold plunge pool. All were excellent. If possible, schedule a massage - if you were walking as much as we were, it will feel like heaven. We wished they had a hot tub to complete the experience. Also, soap is provided in a dispenser but bring your own shampoo and lotion. Every person has a locker and there is a hairdryer. Refreshments are available onsite for a reasonable cost (the lemon ginger tea is awesome as is the carrot cake).
