We went to the Nemo science museum as planned and it was a fantastic place to visit in Amsterdam! We only had to wait in a short queue, compared with other attractions in the city, and as we had purchased the I Amsterdam cards, admission was free of charge! With 5 floors of interactive experiments, information and fun it was... More

The Science Museum was pretty stunning as viewed inside and the activities held internally were suitable for children and youngsters more. The top deck was vantage points for viewing over the canal areas and the cafe inside was good for adults taking a rest while their children gone to participate various activities on different floors of the compound. We decided to go at the last minute before catching our flight back home to UK, I went to the science museum in Glasgow last year with my 10 year old & thought it might have similar exhibits in it, not the case, definitely really original & well executed. Plenty of hands on activities to do ( especially for the... More

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to enjoy Nemo Science Museum as there is a lot to see! Lots of fun and interactive things to see and we even got to see a live demonstration. There were lots of children around but even as an adult I found there were lots of interesting things to learn about

Unless you're a kid, this place is not exciting at all. I guess I'm way past my wonder years. The architecture is quite interesting though. It's great that the restrooms are clean and accessible. You go in through one entrance and exit through a different way.

Really well conceived science-based learning experience aimed mainly at kids 5-15 but Mums & Dads loved it too. Lots of participative experiments. Bi-lingual - English & Dutch. Very helpful, friendly young staff. Spent 4 hours there, until it closed

The museum barely hold any interesting stuff for adults. The entrance fee is also very high for what the museum offers. Great for kids though, but I expected more.
