“If you only go to one shop, make it this one -tons of oilcloth!”
A far cry from Amsterdam's otherwise traditional and fine taste, this shop features colourful and cheerful kitchen and interior products, ranging from off-the-wall tableware to quirky stationary to recycled paraphernalia.

Oilcloth is super expensive in the UK so I was thrilled to find that this shop held such a wide selection. For EUR 9 I had a great and practical new tablecloth! Kitsch Kitchen is also filled with eco-friendly kitchen ware and memorabilia. Loads to...More

Seriously a great store to spend an hour perfectly happy. Great stuff to buy and they have no problems in sending it to your home. So much colour, nice people and a great song on the speakers. Made my day.

the selection is quirw dissapointing- kitsch can come in many levels but here it was basic and indeed nothing to write home about. the area however abounds in other shops and makes for it.

I have been into this shop twice, I have never actually brought anything but I love looking around at the toys and home interiors that would not have looked out of place in a home some 30-40 years ago. You must pay a visit if...More

This shop is a lovely little place to spend all your euros whilst visiting Amsterdam. Lots of homemade creations with a unique twist that other shops do not have. I would recommend buying gifts for people here instead of cheap and unoriginal usual tourist gift...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
