While my wife and two daughters visited the Anna Frank House (huge line there which is great and uplifting and makes me feel better about humanity) I had to find a fun activity for my younger son who felt bad for being left out. After...More

I've lived in Amsterdam for 5 years now and have a very low tolerance for the parts that draw flocks of tourists. But I do like having visitors as an excuse to do the dinner cruise. The constraints of the boat and keeping it affordable...More

Luckily there is a retractable roof for if it rains (it did) and toilet facilities on board. Tour is conducted via headphones and has various language options. You get to see a far amount of the city for a reasonable price. I would say it...More

This was the best way of cruising on the canals. Our guide Tim was friendly and informative. Lovely drinks and snacks! Much better than those vast boats full of hundreds of people.

We booked an open boat tour with Dave some weeks ago and it was awsome! Due to Daves easy going personality and his jokes we had a really good time. He takes different routes, depending on what people are on the boat. So we stopped...More

Fantastic evening dinner cruise. The staff and captain were very welcoming, prosecco on arrival followed by delicious freshly cooked food. Bonus was the perfect weather as we sailed round the scenic canals with our friends. Would definitely recommend this trip to people.

This was brilliant, our guide, Tim was very attentive, only 6 of us on the tour, very exclusive for €29.50 p/h which included drinks, that were topped up copiously throughout our tour. Excellent tour, very informative and friendly as was the C'ptn. Wish you continued...More

I would suggest if you are a slow traveller and would like to travel at ease and your own pace. Or perhaps the older travellers, then yes! this should be one of the best things to do in Amsterdam. However for the younger generation, its...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

I do not know about dinner and lunch cruises, but the rest can be bought right before the scheduled sailing. To know which company is the best, it is necessary tor give a try to each one. Suspect that all are more or less... More

Even without the rain, the visibility was quite poor through the glass unless you got a window seat. I am pretty sure it would be bad if its raining, so my advice will be to not take it if it is raining.
