easy to use, nice personell, plenty places to go on board. Roomy boats, nice stops on the right places. Perfect alternative for a taxi or bike.

One of the best ways to explore town if you don't know where to start in Amsterdam. The bus gets you to main attractions around the city.

This company is the absolute worst. After purchasing ticket3 tickets, the first 2 canal boats were private. After waiting an hour, the next boat was being put out of commission half way through the ride on the other side of city. Spent over $80 and...More

Had the Hop on Hop off / Canal cruise tickets. Excellent way to get around the city. You do need to plan you day as they do not travel late and you should plan your route. Used the canal cruise as an optional method of...More

This Hop on Hop Off service is a fantastic idea in theory , if they run their services properly. We booked our tickets 11:30 at Vondelpark and was assured that boats would be at stops every 25 minute give or take a minute or so....More

Normally, this classic hop-on, hop-off tour includes 1 bus and 2 boat routes in either a 24 or 48 hour period. Due to time constraint, I only used the boat portion of the tour, but was able to ride both routes (which run in opposite...More

We did both the Blue and Orange lines, both were good and the commentary was okay. It was a disappointing end to the cruise when we were told, at the Rijksmuseum stop, that the boat was not going any further. As there was no other...More

I'm a convert. You get the best of both worlds - canal and coach, and you can interchange between them. Recorded commentary was very good, as were the ad lib comments from the canal boat captain. Strongly recommended!

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping

Don't bother with a cab. Trains to the city centre from schipol airport go every 15 minutes at around about 5 euros for a one way fare. The airport staff are also very helpful with any questions or concerns you may have.
