Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great day on the lake, boating with former colleagues. Watching planes go to and from Schiphol.
The Westeinderplassen actually is the biggest body of inland water in the Netherlands. Something I didn’t know, myself.
We had a lot of fun exploring all the small islands, moats and inlets around the lake. Ice place to relax and have fun sailing or boating!

Great man-made beach. Kids can play in the sand and swim or paddle (must use arm-bands as it can become deep) in dedicated area. East to park if you arrive early. Nice restaurant nearby as well.

This is a very large and beautiful lake. One can bike around, 20 plus Km. Lots of small towns to visit around the lake. Sit on a marina terrace, and enjoy a drink.

We wanted to visit this lake last summer but it was very crowded and you couldn't get any parking place so we're back again this chilly saturday and… almost nobody. The lake is quite big. You see some people were busy with the boats and surfboards. Enjoyed the breeze and the view

Great little cycle route - did about 30km circle from Aalsmeer. Some nice scenery - most of riding was on LF routes - some places to eat and see things. We took two small ferries which were just over €1 each.

We took sailinglessons at this lake at the sailingschool there and even got our first official sailing papers so we can rent a sailboat next time we visit. It's a very nice place where you can either use and or rent a boat to explore the surroundings. There are a lot of privatly owned isles but it is still nice to sail arround and through this area. There is also a small beach where you can enjoy some swimmingtime.

The Aalsmeer lakes are a beautiful nature reserve, but there was a lot of noise from planes from Schiphol when I was there
Also many trucks in the village of Aalsmeer due to the economic activities of the village of Aalsmeer
