We would love to welcome you at the shopping centre of Venlo! The inner-city still has the old structure of the medieval streets. Small streets connecting public squares. Be pleasantly surprised!

Venlo is vibrant with a good number of privately owned businesses. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants serving local as well as international food and beers. There are several nice hotels, try the Theatre Hotel if it has vacancies.

There are some historical buildings but not too many. Some shopping streets but nothing interesting. Germans love the city for mostly 2 Bruder. I recommend many other supermarkets as they are much cheaper and have more parking space and free parking.

The city centre of Venlo is really nice. The old but good maintained buildings give you a very warm welcome. There are a lot of shops where you can buy good clothes / stuff.

I was touring some friends in my own birthplace, which I left 34 years ago. It was a true re-discovery of my old stomping ground. The city centre has had a great overhaul - many new buildings nicely match with the historic parts of the...More

Very nice city center that is very walkable. The restaurants and shops are of a great variety, not just wellknown highstreet names that you see in every other city as well.

Venlo, busy but several empty shops. I would advise anyone thinking to visit to travel another 20 minutes south to Roermond, which has much more ambiance, lots of nice restaurants, and an historic town center, not forgetting the biggest designer outlet center in Europe for...More

Coffee in art nouveau like Grand Café. Coffee, njoy the café, grab some pastry, snack or great menu. Terrace is very lively in summer. Good place to meet anyone. Business, friend, couple. There is always a great atmosphere.

Pedestrian only city/shopping centre, partly alongside the river Maas. Good for buying clothes, electronics, food and drinks. And ofcourse there's cheese! A good place for 'bonvivants'! Do not forget Limburgs Museum and Museum Bommel-Van Dam. So even on occassionally rainy days there's something good to...More

I live in a village called Reuver, 10 KM from Venlo. All the supermarkets are open on Sundays (e.g. Albert Heijn, Plus, Lidl, Jan Linders).
