Oldest bridge in the Netherlands. Quite stunning crossing the beautiful river Maas. The view of the bridge from the promenade or boat is very impressive.

A really lovely stone bridge from where you can take some nice photos. A part of it lifts up for boats to pass, but pedestrians can still cross it.

I walked over this bridge which is the oldest in the Netherlands. It gives you the best views of the city and has a lot of history. You can see also an innovative art where it lifts off to allow barges to go through yet...More

Very beautiful bridge. Very interesting to watch as the one side will rise up to allow boats to pass. Bike traffic across is stopped but you can still walk across.

Weather was amazing when we were in Maastricht, all photos turned out pretty awesome. The original bridge was constructed in the 13th century and is a nice way to cross the river!!

One walks over it ten times a day if your staying in Wyck. ITs convenient connects the two towns and has tons of shops at the end of it. Enjoy the bridge and the views- the ships that float beneath it is incredible.

A really nice historic bridge, connecting both sides of town. Used by the buses to get from the main town centre to the railway station, or to walk across. Well designed and pretty to look at.

This bridge is an engineering marvel. While this bridge lets people walk on the sidewalks, and allows for motorists or bikers to move from one side to another, it also allows all types of boats/cruisers to use the waterway, just by raising itself up. The...More
