I thought that Utrecht Dom tower was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in the Netherlands. Until I saw this. You will be enchanted by it, at any time of the day.

Walked past here while on a walking tour. Church really looks like it was snapped together from two different churches!

We went up the three hundred steps to take in the city view- great placards inform you of what you are looking at. Its in the center of the old town- great to see.

My daughter says it’s the best place ever. We climbed the narrow staircase and had a great view. The staircase is quite tough unless you are fit and don’t go to the top unless you are ok with heights. On the way up you can...More

A modest church with a striking external facade. The interior is very nice but, in my opinion, a little modest compared to other churches I’ve visited lately in other Belgian cities. If U can climb a considerable number of stairs (more then 200) don’t miss...More

The view from the top of the stairs is phenomenal. The stairs are fairly step and very narrow (especially if there are people going up and down at the same time). Well worth the trek though!!

The top of the tower offered a charming view of Maastricht, from where I could designate other landmarks I still wanted to visit. Also, just being in such an old space like that really lets your imagination fly. I hope I have occasion to revisit...More

In centuries past churches and statuary were often painted and Sint Janskerk is a striking throwback to that time. Apparently in centuries past it was painted both yellow and white but it's been red for a century or more and was repainted in the current...More
