Nice museum, friendly staff but I would have loved some English translations. Great for children too (if they speak Dutch of course).

This is a fascinating museum of the natural history of this area EXCEPT the information was ONLY in Dutch. Why is it that in other countries major museums have their exhibits in at least 3 languages, English, French, and German. This experience could be so...More

Great museum, small, old, with beautiful displays but NO English text ONLY Dutch - so if you are from any country other than the Netherlands you will not know and understand any of the exhibits - very disappointing.

Some interesting exhibits here, including the massive jawbone of a mesosaurus removed from the limestone tunnels of Sint Pieter. If you like fossils and skulls, limbs, insects, birds and edcuational exhibits, this is definitely worth a visit.

It's really frustrating that the collections didn't have a English translation of the Dutch prescription. The museum had a nice collection and I would recommend it.

I'm a geology and biology buff so I loved this, but it's smaller than you'd expect and a lot of the displays are outdated or moulded casts of the real thing. You have to be interested in the subject matter to overlook it. There is...More

Set in a beautiful and historic part of Maastricht one can find this very interesting Museum of Natural History. That’s because of the diversity on display of everything that nature holds. For instance, it’s nice to be able to see what one is being told...More
