Nice museum run by comic strips enthusiasts. Nicely done exhibition and some interactive components that are especially fun for children. It is much larger than it initially seemed.

This museum has a splendid exposition about the history about cartoons. Not only Hergé but also the Dutch cartoonist. The exposition about Jan Kruis is a hommage to a great cartoonist who is sadly no longer with us. If you like comics and cartoons you...More

Nice museum, small, not in English so get English guide, in walking distance from Groningen museum. Worth getting museum pass if you plan on visiting several museums.

Never thought that we would have so fun spending a couple hours in this museum. Everytime you see a comic that you have ever read when you're still a child, you will mumble, "ah, that time I was still in the 6th grade" etc. etc....More

The Strip Museum is located in the same building as a Mc Donalds. As the name reveals, this museum focusses on the (hi)story of Dutch comic books. A few famous series and authors are highlighted, like Martin Toonder. You are encouraged to read a few...More

You must know and love your comic strips for this one or it is a complete waste of time. It is all in Dutch and unless you can read and understand some Dutch you will not get that much out of a visit.
