Very beautiful lake inside the city. My younger daughter enjoyed seeing beautiful swans that were swimming in the lake

Want to take a steamer ride or just laze around or feed the swans with no disturbance then this the place. The beauty, the horizon dotted with monuments and buildings on a hillock make it all the most beautiful.

Lake Zurich is very large and beautiful. The boat tours are available in different time lengths. We took the 3 hour tour. The boat stopped at several small towns around the lake. Weather was great and the architecture was beautiful.

Enjoyed walking around portions of the lake. It is very picturesque, and relaxing. We spent some time in the arboretum area, which was filled with people sunbathing, playing ball, swimming, etc. There were also lots of vendors selling drinks and snacks.

Take the boat to the lake of Zurich, you will not regret. Spend a lazy couple of hours enjoying the beautiful views on the small villages, quais and houses on either side of the lake. You can also step in and out with the children,...More

You can walk along the banks on paved footpath or just sit on the benches/lawns and enjoy the views...I prefer to sit and observe people doing different activities. Or take the ferry for an evening cruise

Lake Zurich forms the core of Zurich, together with the Siel and Limt rivers that flow into it. It not only provides the city's potable water, it is also a center for recreation and transport.

I do agree with the answer of the other contributor, actually on the lake there are rather villages than towns, and if you have limited time then better to have a look from the boat and spend more time to visit the old town... More

That actually depends where you want to go. It also depends on what type of day ticket you have. There's too many variables to fully answer your question. However, let's take a hypothetical view of this. Say you and junior... More
