It was Sunday but we where not aloud in even after service. We waited for the 10 o'clock service to end. At 11:00 everyone came out of the church. And then we were told that we had to come back at 14:00. Sorry but, NO! Thank You!

Wandering along Barnhofstrasse around Paradeplatz, I was intrigued by the sight of the church building with green steeple. Not knowing what the name of the church I just went there and joined the small crowd. Entrance is free and insight it is the sight of a normal cathedral but with a huge organ on the 1st floor and the beautiful... More

The Fraumunster church has a beautiful organ and is an impressive building, but a visit here is all about the absolutely incredible color of the Chagall stained glass in the front. How he coaxed the colors and movement out of the glass for this installation is beyond me, but it is worth a visit to Zurich and this church for... More

A must when one visits Zurich.. The 5 famous stain glass windows by Chagall are unique and of a beauty one cannot describe... The colors and the message of each of them are absolutely fantastic. Worth every minute of the time you can spare!

I can't remember the reason now, but this beautiful church from the outside remained just like that: a mystery from within. However, it is well worth rearranging one's tour in such a way that is passes by it. I initiated my walking tour in Zurich's city centre in this church, and I loved to get myself lost in those little... More

Be sure to visit all the churches...and climb to the top of the Grossmunster! Check out the Chagal windows in the Fraumunster, too!

Fraumunster is a nice church to visit. It is open to the public and entrance is free-of-charge. The stained glass windows of Marc Chagall is one of best known sights in this church. Each window has its own color theme. The three windows in the east side depict Jacob, Christ and Zion. There is more to see here, and explanation... More

Smaller than the Munster but the stained glass window in this church are works of art in their own right.

This is a lovely little square overlooking the city. It has ancient roots. It is a bit of a walk uphill, but well worth the effort. It is peaceful.

I had a couple hours between trains and walked around the Old Town and stumbled into this church and saw the lovely windows. Love the Chagall Windows.
