I have only visited Rochers-de-Naye during the winter months. It is a very small local ski area with limited runs. Still very pretty and ideal for young families and beginners. Still lovely for a relaxing day of skiing. There are beautiful views from the top. There is a hotel to stay in and several yurts for the more adventurous. The... More

We were in Montreux and were hesitating between taking the golden pass panoramic train or going to rochers-de-naye. We finally chose the latter option since it takes less time(we were with our kids). Once there, we were really surprised: no information desk or anything similar. EVERYTHING was closed(except the restaurant)! with the snow everywhere, you can not go anywhere outside... More

Getting the train from Montreux to Rochers de Naye (golden pass) The train quite rapidly gains height affording view on Montrreux . It gains height trough a pine tree wood past several impressive buildings ( and small cute ones ) past the snow line finally after about an hour to the Rochers de Naye railway station. Once there there are... More

Unfortunately the weather was cloudy so we missed the beautiful view from the top but also the one hour long ride with the train was very nice and we consider the trip as a time well spent.

We come here when there is snow as it is near the flat we stay in. It is very charming and beautiful. However, my brother and I are quite good skiers, and there are only three runs on offer, and normally only one due to snow conditions.

Rochers-de-Naye is at the top of a mount with great views of stunning landscapes. Take the train from Montreux, or take a pilgrimage walk. If you have a Riviera Card it will take you to Caux. Then you need to get a ticket to take you all the way to the top. There is a restaurant and shop at the... More
