Sunnegga is a superb location to sit and relax, enjoy a cold drink and a light meal or snack, and then bask in the beauty of the Matterhorn.

Take the train up to the Sunnegga station and walk out into the glory of the Alps.. The Matterhorn rising up in front of you is aw inspiring. Take the 8km trail down to Zermatt, stopping off for lunch at 1 of 3 restaurants..

Carl, the key in the Aps is be prepared! Don't expect snow but very cold and rainy could come your way - very unpredictable. Normally the weather forecast is quite accurate so pay attention to it too.
