We travelled her on a motorbike- the views were amazing. As we travelled up the pass you could smell the pine trees as the air was so clear and when we reached the top the views were stunning and it was so tranquil . There...More

First of all the road to the pass is right at the entrance to the tunnel so you have to be on the alert to take a right turn. You reach the point of decision at the end of a long gallery. We had fantastic...More

It's a tunnel.. what else can I say!? Whilst the trip through the pass was fairly short, I was surprised that we had to pay an extra €40 (this is NOT the Vignette, I think it was some form of extra tax(?)) to pass through...More

From start to finish this is a great road ! The scenery the whole way up and down is simply stunning. The road itself winds up and down to the pass and you have every type of bend possible ! Highly recommended !

A beautiful drive though the valleys and snow covered peaks on the background. A part of the pass has a tunnel which is partly closed and partly open. The open part of the tunnel looks quite like a balcony on the side of the mountain,...More

If you are in the area you have to drive this pass, it is worthwhile doing even if only going to the top and back down again. If driving to Italy, the only reason to take the tunnel is bad weather. Don't miss out.

Loved this place but be forewarned-even in July it is very cold at the pass. The pass is closed a part of the year. We delayed leaving by a day because fog made it impossible to see the road!

It was amazing to look at the mountains on the side with the houses perched high up there. The tunnel itself was also iconic with beams that allows one to look out while the vehicle passes through.

In less than 1 hour drive from Aosta, Italy you can reach this amazing point 2,500m above the sea level. Be careful not to enter the tunnel which goes through the mountains. At the pass you can park at the Italian or Swiss side and...More

Nothing to say other than this is a wonderful experience (particularly if you avoid my error of going into the main Swiss /Italian Grt-St-B tunnel!) taking you into a wonder world that has to be seen to be believed.
