The famous Italian artist Segantini discovered this special patch of the earth. Sunsets and very special lights for his beautiful priceless paintings. Best view on the Engadin lakes and valley.

This is a don't miss for anyone on vacation in St. Moritz. A wonderful way to watch the sun set over the mountains. The main restaurant (reservations very necessary) is a top notch fine dining experience. But there's also outdoor dining and a large area...More

Lovely funicular railway up to the top. Hadn't realised it would be this cold and snowy in St Maritza so wasn't dressed accordingly. However, lovely still to see the snow. Had a short walk around the sculptures before returning as didn't have suitable footwear. I'm...More

We enjoyed the perfect view but we're not to fortunate with the weather. No sun makes it slightly cold also in the summer. Great walking options on 2500m

Lovely hotel. Lovely rooms. Lovely facilities. Everything about this hotel is amazing. You come up on a train all the way from the bottom of the mountain and then when we came back down we went on a lovely walk around the mountain.

We took the high trail. We rode the cog train up, and descended at the gondolas. The second half of the trail is a bit dicey, and definitely not something to be attempted in poor weather. Trekking poles and good hiking boots are a must....More

Don't miss it. Take the funicular and enjoy the spooky run of Muottas Muragl. It's a long and fancy ride. Don't miss it.

My wife and I spent an afternoon on the deck at Muottas Muragi enjoying a meat and cheese plate with a bottle of wine. The food was very good, but one goes here for the views. They are spectacular and every bit worth the time...More

Although not obvious some research on internet seems to indicate this does remain open in summer season. Try contacting engadin.stmoritz.ch for more info 🙂

Diavolezza is wonderful too. I skied it and it was beautiful. A friend of mine travelled on the train to here and she got off at Diavolezza and climbed up to the glacier. She said it was an amazing experience and would... More
