Just gorgeous ride up the mountain. Beautiful views of Wengen. At the top take a hike in the alps. Later you can take the train back down again. Favorite thing on our trip to Europe.

I would stress that it is best done on a clear day or else the fog and clouds will obscure views worthy of heaven. The hike to Kleine Schiedegg is easy and actually downhill. The hike from Kleine Scheidegg follows the world famous Laberhorn ski...More

We loved the small gondolas between Grindlewald and Mannlichen! The view at the top was spectacular and the trip down to Wengen was quick and convenient, since we stayed at Hotel Edelweiss in Wengen.

If you are in Wengen, we would strongly recommend this cable car ride up to Männlichen. There was no queuing or waiting such is the timing and the system of how the cable cars run. Amazingly smooth journey and the cable car is very spacious....More

We rode this lift twice. Once to do the Royal Walk and then the panoramic walk to Kleine Scheidegg and then a second time to get to Grindelwald. It is reasonable priced (we got a 50% discount with our Swiss Travel Pass) and the views...More

The journey from Wengen to the top of Mannlichen by cable car takes approx 10 to 15 minutes, the gondola ride down to Grindelwald takes about 30 minutes, both well worth it.
