TA has this area spread out across a number of regions and descriptions, but essentially, the Jungfrau region accesses ski areas of Grindelwald, First, Wengen, Kleinne Sscheidegg, Murren and Mannilchen; along with the famous Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe" observatory which is different to the 007 mountaintop site at Murren. The railway journey to the top is expensive by any standard,... More

This was an awesome experience! The ride is fabulous with some breathtaking scenery. The near vertical rail ride in itself is worth a visit. Once you get to the top you have some very nice mountain top restaurants. On a low level cloud day you can see the clouds floating by. Definitely worth a visit.

Efficient and picturesque railway journey to the top of the mountain where we enjoyed stunning views in beautiful weather - see photo. Lots to do there as well as shops and restaurants. There was an ice tunnel with ice sculptures, a short 360 degree video, caves and information and memorial about those who lost their lives working on the railway.... More

This is a must stop for anyone in the area. Where else can you take a train ride up through a mountain? Once you are up there you have a 90 min self guided tour that is clearly marked. We then had lunch overlooking the mountain which was very nice. One bit of caution: it is really cold up there... More

This was probably one of the main highlights of mine and my friends Europe trip - the top of Jungfrau has views to die for and you could easily spend the whole day there, whilst it also caters for those with not a lot of time on their hands. For the highest point in the whole of Europe - it... More

This is one of those trips that you need to do. just once is enough unless the weather is bad while your up there. Breathtaking from start to finish. Took my breath away at how the hell some Italian men in no more than suits dug through the Eiger mountain.... Superb... The view points in the Eiger mountain stations on... More

What a sight. I'd never felt real snow before so it was quite an experience, very overwhelming. Lovely train ride. The Indian restaurant is amazing.

We spent one to two hours in Jungfrau having reached there from Kleine Scheidegg by the cog wheel train. We went to see the weather observatory and Ice Palace with Ice Carving and came out to open space where we can enjoy free snow experience! If you have not had it before, you can play with snow like your childhood... More
