This express was very very good. The landscapes were AMAZING and the staff were very welcome and the train was very comfortable. They gave us headphones to listen some important informations during the journey. Muhteşem bir tren expressi kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum. Biraz uzun sürüyor ama o manzaralar görülmeye değer.

It was a blue sky day in March and I finally made a last min decision to do the glacier express route before the snow melts away. I took the train from Zürich to Churs and on to Andermatt and continue to Brig followed by a return trip to Zurich via Spiez. I have heard a lot about the beauty... More

We tried the Glacier Express winter special from Brig to Chur for 99 CHF incl lunch and return trip to any destination in Switzerland. The views are great all along and the most spectacular ones are after Oberalp when you are in the middle of the ski resorts. On the way down during the lower level close to Versam Safien... More

Being known as the slowest express train in the world Glacier Express does not offer the most amazing views that you can enjoy from a train in Switzerland but takes you to Zermatt from where you can enjoy the most amazing train in Switzerland: Gornergrat train. It's very expensive and takes 8 hrs to do the full trip from St.... More

Travelled from Chur to Zermatt. Scenery is stunning on this route, but for money paid it was a disappointment in terms of service. Our seat numbers which we had to pay to reserve were given to three other couples. This caused a huge issue as many people had the same thing happen and at each stop people were having to... More

WOW. One needs to say no more. It is a 'must see'if you are in the area. We travelled from Andermatt to Chur in 2 1/2 hours. The views were spectacular. The scenery almost unbelievable. We had a day of clear blue sky and sunshine. Meals were served on the train though rather pricey. The thing to do is take... More

This is the second time that we have done the trip from Chur to Brig in winter (last time in 2003). The whole journey from St. Moritz to Zermatt takes about 8 hours so it is we think better to do it in stages The train is known as the slowest express. It goes over passes where the snow is... More

We caught the train from Chur to Celerina (near St. Moritz) en route from Zurich for a skiing holiday. It was an amazing ride as the train spirals up the Alps. The views are stunning especially near the Albula Tunnel. There are maps on the tables which are very helpful. If you only want snacks on the trip, it's probably... More

I booked the Glacier Express for part of our Honeymoon trip expecting great things and wonderful scenery. We departed from Chur on January 14, after about an hour the train stopped with the announcement "Due to technical problems the trains will sit here for two hours." No further information or any apology was given. Two hours later the train proceeded,... More
