Once you get off at the Schaffhausen train station, you can easily walk to the base of the fort in 15 mins. Then steps all the way up. Great exercise. It's small but nice. Great views of the town. We stopped at the Rhinefalls first...More

We have visited many historical sites but this one just has little appeal. You have climb up a very long set of stairs and once you get there you walk into an empty stone hall with no information at all. You can then walk up...More

Was a relatively easy climb to the top to get a great view of the city. A must do for all visitors , you won't regret it!

This place is accessible both from the old town, lots of steps, or by car on the other side. Access is free. It offers you a great view of the city. It is very quite, you can even take your lunch and have a picnic.

Munot is actually accessible by vehicle - a nice little park stands astride it. The tower is impressive. To me, more impressive were the guys pushing all of the equipment for the little cafe at the top up the ramp. Assume that only happens once...More
