Loved taking the cogwheel train after bus ride from Lucerne. Great when it was clear. We werr lucky with weather. Rocky at the top with restauteants, shops and hiking trails. Even an alpine slide.

Cable car rides are very scenic. Try taking the train on your way down... it’s the steepest train ride, worth experiencing. Swiss hospitality and passenger convenience are unparalleled. View from the top is breathtaking on a clear day.
