Finding a cathedral built upon the highest point in town would ordinarily be a simple task but not so with this cathedral. Moreover, the reformation stripped it of most of its ornamentation. It has a notable organ so coordinating your visit with a concert could be a good idea.

Somehow different church than the ones I'm used visiting. It's a modern hotel with a roof access to see the city from above. Don't miss the roof ;)

The cathedral is in the old town and is a typical cathedral, with stained glass windows. The 15th century carved wooden choir stalls are interesting to see, with carved heads, animals etc, You can visit the towers for 5CHF to get views of the city- we didn't as it was raining when we visited.

We visited the cathedral as we lodged 100mts from it. Very empty and I get the feeling that all Catholic luster was stripped of it with the Reform. Goes to show what religious change brings.

When you get to the top through the small halls, Geneva only appears in front of you. You are constantly expecting what you will see when you pass all dark rooms and halls, a than you can feel like time has been stopped and simply enjoy the view. It's very beautiful and big cathedral, especially it's located in old town.... More

Austere cathedral that is still used for active services. Pay CHF 5 to climb the stairs to the spires for the best views of Geneva. On the ground floor, don't miss Maccabees Chapel (turn right when you enter the cathedral). Look out for details in the main cathedral such as the little shelves in the choir stand where monks could... More

It is nice in it's own way, but after seeing the biggets, tallest most beutiful in Europe, not that impressive. It is a traditional gothic structure in a nice part of town.

My son lives in Zurich and he took me and his father here for a view of the city. It was so beautiful. If you are afraid of heights it may be a little scary but it is well worth the view.

Such a pretty cathedral to go and visit, we climbed to the top of the tower for only chf5, which is the cheapest thing to do in Geneva!! Well worth the view. Lots of stairs up, but do go!
