This free museum ,on the banks of Lake Geneva, is worth a visit just to see the grand house in which it is located. It does however include an impressive collection of old scientific instruments in immaculate condition. The instruments cover many fields of science...More

Uniquely open on Monday!! A collection of historical scientific equipment in a small mansion in a beautiful park. Many detailed explanations in French and English. Some interactive exhibits that would interest children and adults.

Upstairs is the more interesting part of this museum. It contains some old measurement apparatus which are very rare, the rarest among which was an ancient Chinese dragon boat used as a timekeeping piece.

Located in a large park with magnificent views of the lake, this is not a science musuem; it is a museum about the history of the machinery of science. It is not large and shouldn't take more than an hour or too.
