We spotted the gold towers on a walk around the old town. Outside the church looks beautiful with its white stone and dazzling gold decoration. It is undergoing restoration and although we entered, it was only into a small room, so I'm not sure how the inside would look. Well worth a detour if you are close by.

I found the Russian Church difficult to find as I was looking for the golden domes but they are currently covered in scaffolding and not actually visible. The atmosphere inside is very peaceful and with very quiet background music playing, it had a very tranquil and spiritual feel to it. This was my favourite of the several places of worship... More

This beautiful small church is currently undergoing extensive renovation. It does not look like much from the outside, but the inside can still be visited (with a CHF2.- contribution) and religious services have not been interrupted. Geneva’s orthodox community is lucky to have an outstanding choir, and attending a Russian orthodox service is always an amazing experience for Christians of... More

Very small and quaint with incredible interior. Very close to the Old town and the Museum of Art and History. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended!

Writhing a 5 min walk from Rive, on the hill, and you will experience the atmosphere for Russian orthodoxy.
