Currently the Musee Rath is showing an excellent exhibition of Switzerland's leading painter, Ferdinand Hodler. The lighting is stunning and the well illustrated themes makes for an enlightened appreciation of this painter, whose works are difficult to find outside the country.

I'm running behind on my Trip Advisor reviews so I don't know whether the fabulous exhibition that combines both the history of photography and Geneva is still on but if it is, it was one of the best displays of historic photographs that I have...More

This museum was very interesting and had some very unique photographs that tied in with the history of Geneva. But somehow it was lacking in didn't seem to have a core identity. The air-conditioning was great on a hot day! LOL you can see the...More

This is a small museum near the old city. When I visited, there were interesting photos and etchings as well as a 360 degree interactive art item. The museum was smaller and for the price (unless you have the Geneva Pass) is not worth it.

I've seen the "panoramas" exhibition, which attempts to bring together a number of visual samples of the word's various meanings. Before the invent of cinema, panoramic paintings were a kind of funfair attraction. Along these lines, a short from 1900 by Thomas Edison shows a...More

Spent 10mins there and clueless what the exhibition was about. It was a collection of fabrics, maybe is about dying? The locker is CHF2 but is refundable just like any museums in Switzerland

This museum houses temporary exhibitions. At present (until the end of March) it is showing a collection of material about the history of Lebanon. On show are a variety of artefacts, from pre-history up to the 17th century. We find that prehistoric items generally work...More

Great location near the Grand Theater. Major complaint: no explanations in English; really unfair and diminishes from the exhibit's educational impact. Service and explanations by reception were kind of unpleasant. There are lockers for a 2 Swiss Franc deposit.
