As far as Contemporary Art museums go, this one is pretty middle of the road. It wasn't a waste of time, but it also wasn't a must see. At 15 CHF, the entry is a bit stiff.

The website was not very clear and was not working well and upon arrival 3 out of the 4 floors were closed. What was left was not well presented. On the ground floor wa a badly put together not so arty photo exhibition
I am a BIG contemporay art fan and go to all the museums and exhibitions I can across the world. The art pieces at MAMCO were rubbish, the choice of artists very poor (arrogant collectives etc), the explanation close to non-existent. No scenography, no intelligence....More
