The Mosesbrunnen (sculpture and fountain) is very close to the Bern Minster. A lovely area of the city and worth many photos. It is wonderful, seeing the colors on the sculptures. This fountain dates to the 16th century and was rebuilt in the 18th century...More
We included a visit to each of the fountains we passed in our tours. The Bernese have done a great job of maintaining them, and you can actually see the canals that feed each fountain run under the streets. Very cool.

Bern city map includes a nice list of 12 fountains in Old Town, with name and location of each. I wish they could have included also a short story for each. I know many of them have a history back to Middle Ages.
