If you choose to walk up to the Rosengarten, wear sturdy shoes. I think there's an alternative entrance at the top of the hill, which would be best for those with limited mobility. The roses are nice and the park is pretty but the view...More

If you need to burn some calories after eating too much, consider walking up the STEEP cobblestone path to the Rose Garden after dinner for sunset. Not only can you take photos of the city for your scrapbook/photo book of the Old Town and winding...More

Perfect for a summer evening. From here you have the most beautiful view of Berne, with the old town in front of you and the Gurten in the background. You can go have a drink in the restaurant or just sit on the grass or...More

The rose garden does not consisted out of many roses. The walk to the garden was kinda long walk (steep path). The view however was nice.

It is a kind of park rather than a rose garden, so don't expect to see too many roses (well, there are some). It gives you a nice view of the city if you like taking pictures.

The Rosengarten is not breathtaking by any stretch but it is a lovely garden. It also offers a very nice view overlooking Old Town. As you would expect, the cafe is a bit pricey but it may be convenient or fun to have a drink...More

The rose garden is worth visiting for many reasons. There are fabulous views over Bern when you reach the top. The gardens are beautifully laid out. The garden is a recipient of cherry trees from Japan.

Even without the roses the place offers a magnificent view over old town Bern. I would say go there :)
