The building is very majestic, and here is the seat of the Swiss Parliament. From the square behind the parliament there is a nice view of the river.

Come to Bundeshaus platform with a take-away coffee or beer and some snacks and enjoy the sunshine for free. You can pick one of the outdoor chairs to chill on and enjoy the view over the Aare river and Matte quarter as well as the view over the alps if the weather is good enough. Of course you can also visit the Bundeshaus and learn about Swiss history and politics during the guided tour ;)

Beautiful building, nice outside standing and very nice surroundings. A very peaceful area, everything moving just nice and very, very calm, quite a few shops and coffee shops around and an excellent place to walk around and watch.

You need to reserve by internet 3 days before your visit and bring your passport. It is an amazing building and entertaining tour where you can take a seat directly in the plenary. Arrive 30 minutes early for the security check.
