This is a sad church with its series of stainedglass windows showcasing death, as the Speuer bridge in Lucerne. However there are many interesting vinagrettes especially for those interested in the Guilds and social history. Good accoustics. Attend a concert if one is available

Wonderful place to spend some time in Old Town. Beautiful alcoves and stained glass. A must see while in Bern.

It was a beautiful church, definitely it will have better view of Bern city if you willing to pay for the entrance fee to climb up to the top.

An older church with a breathtaking view at the top. Climbing to the top is worth the view. It is a smaller spiral staircase to the top, so be aware if you are not a fan of "tighter" places.

Beautiful and tall cathedral that is worth finding a distant view of. Only disappointment from this week's visit is the ton of scaffolding everywhere.

Sorry but I don't know the hours and we decided not to go to the top as we wanted to see more of the city. It's absolutely a must-do if you're touring Bern. I'd check with a concierge at a hotel in the city. They'll know... More
