The ferry is a every day part of Basel life and you get a free trip with your free Basel card. Its a very short trip, only 3min roughly, but a lovely view that is just as quick as the l walking that bridge

What a great way to cross the river! Free on the Basel card or 1.80 francs. Only takes a few minutes though well worth doing!
