One of the highlights of our trip. Tita and Nonie feel like the relatives you don't but should have. We felt immediately at home. Learned some great recipes which I have used since returning home. Wonderful way to spend an evening, with great food, wine and friends. Thank you Tita and Nonie!

Tita and Nonie gave us a memorable and instructive afternoon and early evening of cooking lessons and delicious dining, in the comfort of Tita's beautiful home in Perugia. We had requested a vegetarian menu and they did not disappointment, delivering to us an Umbrian menu with six tasty dishes, covering three antipasti, a primi, a secondo and an astounding dolce... What better way to immerse oneself into a culture but to learn how to cook?? Well that is exactly what my husband and I did by participating in the cooking class with Noni and Tita at "umbriacooks4u". This was recommended by another person who cooked with these two incredible ladies and I was not given wrong information. What an incredibly,... More

Nonie and Tita are first of all, excellent teachers. They provided our glass, 4 of us -friends who traveled from NY to Umbria- with a lesson on preparing a multi-coursed dinner. From the appetizer to the chocolate lava cake it was fun, interesting and memorable. Each of us have repeated recipes we learned a month ago in their kitchen and... More

Learn to make an amazing Italian meal with herbs right from Tito's own garden, in her spotless and beautifully designed kitchen in Perugia!! Great food, great wine, great instruction and great fun! Nonie and Tito make you feel right at home from the moment you enter Tito's beautiful house! The class is informal, allowing everyone to mix and mingle while... More

Warm and welcoming, Tita and Nonie give a fabulous cooking class in Tita's home. Tita (an Italian) and Nonie (an American) are a great team. Our group of 4 joined another couple to spend the afternoon cooking, learning and enjoying each other and the fabulous 5 course meal we made. And now back in the U.S. when I make the... More

My son, husband, and I took the class together. This was a real treat. Nonie and Tita were delightful. Their 30 year friendship is evident in the way they teach, communicate, and work together. The environment was casual, fun, and relaxed. Our cooking lesson was fabulous and the dishes were delicious. We received copies of all the recipes and will... More

So much fun with great food and wonderful hosts. Plenty of wine in a beautiful kitchen while we prepared course after course. The olive oil we used was even pressed from the Chica's own olives.

I have taken cooking lessons in many places. I have never had such a great time learning and eating. These two women are the dynamic duo. They teach with ease as they give you some history as well. The venue is beautiful. The kitchen efficiently laid out so everyone can participate and see what is going on. The group small.... More

Our group had a great time cooking with Nonie and Tita! Both are welcoming, informative and creative. Plus, Nonie's sense of humor is very welcome when learning some challenging cooking techniques! We made a huge dinner and even left with rustica for the next day!

Thank Stephen P
