We visit the local market, every Tuesday, anders walked to the center. From there two elevators bring you to the piaza and the castle with an awesome view over Gubbio hills.

Great views out across the countryside and across the tiled roofs. Huge medieval square that had very people here when we visited late July. In fact the whole of Gubbio was quiet and peaceful and we seemed to have the streets very much to ourselves....More

It's quite a climb up to the square but the views over town are worth it. Best in the morning or evening during summe, it is exposed to the heat during the day.

Worth a visit if near the area with great views over the area below and Gubbio town. Make use of the couple of free lifts to get to the different town levels.

This huge lovely square is surrounded by wonderfully restored medieval buildings. It really is like stepping back in time. In fact the whole town is like this. The views are great and of course the ancient basilica is a must see.
